You may not have come across this new Perth, Western Australia trio before, but this first offering is a perfectly styled three-minute heady - and heavy - mix of blues, grunge and alt rock.




SWIMMING TAPES - SET THE FIRE
Jangly dream-pop follow-up to recent debut 'Souvenirs' for the London five-piece, out now via Hand in Hive. A woozy, hook-filled melodic piece to warm to.

Combining catchy riffs with driving rhythms, the four-piece indie rock band from Birmingham/Bristol released this new atmospheric four-minute-plus track last week.




NE-HI - BURIED ON THE MOON
Released last week, the Chicago scuzzy garage quartet's first single on Grand Jury Music label echoes the early 70s, with reverb-filled guitar twang and laid-back melodies.




GOODBYE HEART - LIVES ON LIVES
Seattle-based electronic dreampop duo Nila Leigh (vocals, synth) and Sam Ford (guitar, vocals) are releasing new singles bi-weekly via email. This latest, released May 13, is a down-tempo chilled and haunting track with evocative vocals.




SUPERGLU - WEEKEND

Pittsburgh punk rockers precede new album 'Blood//Sugar//Secs//Traffic' out June 10 on Sub Pop, with this fired-up guitar-rocker, the last song to be recorded from the album, a catchy, two-and-a-half-minute spurt.
