So, this sounds like ...March Pt 2

With spring springing out all over, here at Little Indie we are busy with our ear buds checking out all the new tunes pushing their flowering tube heads above the surface. Some of what we have been loving over the last weeks we now unveil for you.

THE BOHOS - MONDAY MORNING
Debut single from Liverpool four-piece which was released back in January, but it's bound to be in the set when they play Arts Club Loft, Liverpool on March 25, so get an earful now of an emerging band-to-watch.

FASCINATIONS GRAND CHORUS - UP TO YOU
Vintage-inspired rock, with some great throwback female vocals, taken from the Brooklyn-based duo's - Stephanie (vocals /keyboards) and Andrew (drums) - second EP, 'Actor/Actress'.

GIRLHOOD - SAY IT
Soulful, R&B follow-up to debut ‘My Boy’ which saw the London duo - producer Christian Pinchbeck (formerly of dreampop duo Elephant) and Kenyan-raised singer Tessa Cavanna - named one of Annie Mac’s New Names on Radio 1.

WYLDEST - THE POET
Released March 6 on Hand In Hive, the latest from the London dreampopgaze trio since last year's 'Dark Matter' EP, which earned them comparisons with the likes of Poliça and Warpaint.

THE SKULLERS - CAN WE DO THAT AGAIN
New March single of spaghetti western New Jersey surf from the blues-soaked trio's brand of modern rock and roll with a down-to-the-bone rockabilly soul.

BLACK HONEY - SOMEBODY BETTER
Big, dramatic new cut from rye Brighton favourites, with full on guitars, whacking bassline and frontwoman Izzy B Phillips giving it all with her dynamic vocal waves.

EINAR VILBERG - SOMETHING TO LEAN ON
Heavy grunge pop-rock new single from Reykjavik, Iceland by the frontman of NOISE, an alt-rock band he formed in 2001 with twin brother Stefan. Taken from his upcoming solo album where he takes on everything from vocals to drums, bass and guitar.

HIGH SUNN - POLAROIDS
New signing to Punk Slime Recordings, 17-year-old San Francisco resident Justin Cheromiah. Lo-fi cut taken from his upcoming debut EP 'Hopeless Romantic', out on May 19, which was recorded with producer Dylan Wall (Craft Spells, Naomi Punk).

LOOSE BUTTONS - TALES OF WHAT I'M USED TO
Lead track from 'Sundays', the latest EP from the New York-based indie rockers. "Sundays was born in the confusion, the anger, the introspection and ultimately the acceptance that comes at the end of a meaningful relationship," says Nizgretsky. "Throughout the process, I found a couple of positive ways to work through such an uncomfortable set of emotions: one was documenting what I felt as vividly as possible."

MATT CROSS - NOTHING SEEMS TO PLEASE ME
Channelling Gallagher/Ashcroft vibes on this track from his just released debut EP 'Better Late Than Never' - and sounding nothing like his 'Dedicated Medicated Fool' stomper we featured a year ago by the 21-year-old Essex singer/ songwriter.

BARE TRAPS - WAITING OUTSIDE
B-side to latest single 'All In You' by the London four-piece, released on March 13, and too good to let slip by unnoticed. Touching on a more sombre, reflective note to its counterpart, it retains the band's stylish funk-rock guitar and wistful vocal cries effectively.

LOW HORIZON - FUNERAL
Second single from the Houston, Texas-based outfit, lifted from their upcoming self-released EP, 'Four Songs Too Long', out on April 21 "The song is an anxious plea for a caring universe in the aftermath of an untimely death."
