Listen :: The Lodgers Sound The Alarm and play London show tonight

Words: Ellie Ward

Four-piece rockers The Lodgers are coming out firing on all amps with new single 'Sound The Alarm'.

The south-west London (Kingston, in fact) outfit - described as a cross between Kasabian and The Faces, bring out some big guns on 'Sound The Alarm' which builds with a ferocious welter of guitars and drums, as vocalist Laurie Wright spits out the lyrics.

Wright, however, is remaining tight-lipped on the meaning behind the song. "'Sound The Alarm' is open to interpretation," he says. "It speaks for itself, and like any song needs no explanation."

Catch the band as they blast it out tonight at Camden Assembly.
